Matthew Shenoda is on the faculty of the College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. Widely anthologized, his writings have appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, Bloomsbury Review, and Newsday and he is currently editing To This Revolution We Will Rise: A Global Anthology of Poetry . He lives in South Berkeley, California.
